very polite, very reasonable, I would go there for all my pet needs if I still lived in the area.
The Animal Clinic of Clayton does a terrific job of caring for pets, both for regular wellness care and illness/disease management situations. They have been treating my now 15 year old cat for 11 years. Kitty is a diabetic, and the Drs. Frasier, Reddy, and now retired Feldman have worked closely with me throughout his diagnosis, management, and the periodic bouts of pancreatitis that come along with the disease. Tashonda comes to my house and gives him his shots when I travel. Great clinic!
My experience at the Animal Clinic of Clayton has always been poor. Not only does the clinic charge you an arm and a leg for services, but they lie about what you have paid for to try and make more money. My dog was seen by them and was given a 3-year rabies vaccination and was told there were no other options - "all puppies get the 3-year" I was told. I took my dog to get groomed and they needed proof of the rabies vaccination. I forgot my record, so they called the Animal Clinic who lied and told them it expired after one year. I had to drive all the way home to get my record because I knew that was a lie. I brought it back to the groomer and my dog was groomed after all of the hassle I had to go through because they cannot keep accurate records of dogs. How would you feel if your own vet had no clue what was done to your dog during a visit? Kind of scary.
Caring staff and Dr. Fraser is The Best!
I called and complained to the girl and she was trying to push me off the phone right away. I have never had to deal with such terrible customer service, and they have lost me and half of Clayton - I hope.
They couldn't spell my last name right, so I couldn't sign up for the vaccination reminders through email. I had to contact them three different times to finally get the right spelling and I still couldn't log in. Bad enough talking to the employees, but then they cannot get anything to work?
Next, I had just gotten back from vacation and had to pay my pet sitter, so money was a bit tight. I brought my dog in for vaccinations...etc, and two of the girls were fighting about how much to charge me. Isn't there some sort of pricing standard? It is just some vaccinations. They also told me to avoid getting my dog spayed because she is so small 2 pounds, but gave me an estimate on cost. $400? Are you out of your mind? I called Millis Animal Hospital on Big Bend and it was $140.
There is some sneaky stuff going on there! Don't go! Trust me!
I used to love this place and took my dog there all the time. Recently I haven't been able to get my dog into the vet at reasonable times since I do work during the day. I plan on switching to Millis because of this. If there is not point in offering hours later at night if they are never available.
