I went there a week ago and hated it. My deal (Living Social) was a chocolate manicure and a shellac manicure for $45. Since my voucher expired, the lady offered me to use it for manicure only (which I didn't mind by the way). Well, the price of the manicure is listed at $35 at the serene scene website, and in the end I paid $45 for it plus tip I foolishly gave her. In other words, the lady made overpay $10 for more than mediocre manicure that lasted only a week instead of 2 weeks as claimed. She did my nails very fast and the nail polish in the bottle was almost dry. When I mentioned the $ 10 difference, she got nervous and murmured something about the price change and that she "forgot to change the price on the website". Guess what, the manicure is still listed there for $35. She lied to me, and I feel totally disappointed. I think the owner should care more about the reputation of the business. Had she offered me a $10 credit towards future service, I would possibly come back for an eyebrow wax or a pedicure, but for now on I'll tell all my friends and coworkers to stay away from Serene Scene Spa.
